Amsterdamairport.online is an independent information website about Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. We are not the airport, we are not an airline, and we sell no tickets. What we offer is a clear picture of what is happening at Schiphol right now, surrounded by practical guides written for travellers and for the people picking them up.
What you find here
The heart of the site is the live flight information: the arrivals board and departures board, refreshed continuously from flight data for Schiphol, in English and in Dutch. Around the boards we maintain guides on the practical side of the airport: parking, hotels, getting there, security, assistance for passengers with reduced mobility, and the other subjects listed in the footer of every page.
How we work
The flight data on the boards comes from an automated feed and changes as the airport’s own information changes. The guides are written and maintained by us. We describe how things work in general terms and we avoid quoting prices, waiting times and other figures that change faster than any website can promise to keep up with. Where a detail matters for your journey, we say so and point you to the party that owns the answer: your airline, your hotel, or the airport itself.
What we are not
We have no counter at the airport, we cannot rebook your flight, trace your baggage or arrange assistance. Requests like that belong with your airline. We also do not answer questions about individual flights beyond what the boards show. What we can do is make sure that when you look something up about Schiphol, you find a straight answer written for a traveller rather than a brochure.
Two languages, one airport
Schiphol serves a Dutch home market and a global transfer public, and this site follows that split. The flight boards run in English and Dutch, the guides are written in English first, and Dutch versions of the most-used guides are being added. Whichever language you read, the information describes the same airport and is maintained together.
Who is behind this site
The site is published by GLB Digital Media Solutions, a Dutch web publisher that runs a portfolio of travel and aviation information sites. The site is financed by advertising. Advertising never influences what the guides say: no hotel, parking provider or airline pays for placement in our content, and we hold no stake in any provider we mention.
Why you can rely on the guides
Every guide on this site follows the same rules. We write from the traveller’s perspective, in plain language, about how things work rather than how they are marketed. We do not quote prices, waiting times or opening hours that change with the seasons, because a guide that is precise and outdated is worse than one that is honest about what moves. Where rules genuinely change, such as security procedures, we say so explicitly and tell you where the current answer lives. And when readers point out an error, we fix the page rather than defend it.
The guides are reviewed against our own visits, official public information and reader feedback. They are general information, not personal travel advice: your airline and the airport remain the authority for your specific flight, and nothing here replaces checking your booking conditions.
